We’ve all at some point found ourselves saying how easier things would be if we didn’t have to check dozens of different online accounts to find a particular document, picture or an email. With Primadesk you can simplify the way that you are managing files in your cloud or should I say clouds, because it allows you to access, search and manipulate online data and messages from over 25 of the most popular online services, like Facebook, Dropbox and Flickr, and best of all there are Primadesk applications available for Andorid and iPhone, so you can use it on your smartphones also.
To use Primadesk you need to register on their website, there are currently 3 different accounts available Free, Pro and Premium. The difference between them is in the number of online services that you can manage and the amount of storage available for the data that you gather.
Yes that’s right, online cloud storage is also offered by Primadesk, where you can pull in all your data and messages and save them for future reference. Cloud storage and online services unification that Primadesk offers are currently in beta, but they are pretty polished already and we haven’t found any major issues during testing.

How does the Primadesk cloud content management work
After registration you will be presented with a list of services that you can use with Primadesk, and you need to do is choose which one of them you want to use. Look at the image above for a detailed list of services, and here are some of the major ones that are supported:
- AOL Mail
- Google Docs
- Google Picasa
- Skydrive Docs and Photos
- Yahoo Mail and Photos (Flickr)
Currently there are exactly 31 services available to choose from, and it can be quite difficult to choose only 5 of them, because majority of us have accounts on at least 10 of these 31 services that are offered.
After selecting a service, Facebook for example, you are taken to the account configuration wizard where you can change the name of the service to something else, or include it or exclude it from the search.
Search allows you to simultaneously search all of the previously mentioned services, in case you don’t know where you left a particular document, photo or an email. It’s really helpful and you can save time that you would normally spend on jumping from Picasa to Flickr, for example, searching for a picture.
And that’s it, after you’ve added your accounts you can start browsing for your files, pictures and emails and put them all in one pile with Primadesk cloud content storage. Service is great, and smartphone apps are making it even better, you can access all your personal online data on your phone from anywhere in the world, amazing stuff indeed.
