Grid Player is a free software to play multiple videos at the same time on a PC. It takes multiple media files from you and then plays them together in a single frame. You can pause and perform other operations on those videos separately. You can play them in delay mode or in synchronized mode.

Installing and using Grid Player to Play Multiple Videos Together Side by Side:

Using Grid Player is very simple. You can download it from its latest GitHub releases. You will get a ZIP file and in the ZIP file there is GridPlayer.exe file that you can launch and start using.

So, launch the software and a blank interface will show up. You can drag and drop a set of videos on its interface and then the videos will start playing side by side automatically.

In case you want to play online video streams, you can just right click on the interface of the video and then select Add > Add URL(s) option to open video streams to play side by side.

So, add the videos and then they will start playing instantly. You can see them in the screenshot below. When you hover over on any video then you will see the seek bar that you can use to play video at any position. Also, all the videos in the grid will play in loop.

To see what more you can do, just right click on any video in any grid.

You will see the option to take screenshots and perform some video operations. For example, you can rotate a video and then even crop it.

If you want, then you can also replace the videos in one gird with another grid. Just drag and drop a video from one frame of the grid and drop it on another. This is as simple as that.

Closing thoughts:

I had some videos that I needed to compare side by side but couldn’t find a decent free tool. But then I started looking for some OS project on GitHub then luckily, I came across Grid Player, and I was saved. I am so amazed with its functionality and the set of features that it offers to let you watch and play a group of videos with extra tools is just amazing. I liked the fact that it gives users so much freedom to play more than one video in single window frame with a few customizations.
