Prozacta is a free online project management suite where you get three different services, project, task and document management, all rolled up into one free online dashboard which can be easily accessed from anywhere in the world. Free accounts are limited, but for individuals and smaller companies they should be more than enough. To use Prozacta you’re first gonna have to register, and once you do register, this is the first thing that you’re gonna see:
Notice on the image above that when you register on Prozacta you actually get your own sub-domain which you can use as your project page. Like we mentioned, there are limitations to the free account, the major one being that you can only run 1 project at a time, next to this one project you can also have:
- Up to 3 users collaborating
- 1GB file and document storage limitation
- Task and file management for free
- Project status reports
Paid accounts can create and run more projects at once, with more users and they get more file storage. Support is also included if you have a paid account, which is something that free accounts do not have. Like we said, if you’re not a demanding user free account should be more than enough for you.
How to manage projects and store documents with Prozacta
To open up your Prozacta account you’re gonna have to open the location which was created during the registration. If you own a company, name the location after your company and then create separate projects for each within it, if you of course upgrade to a paid account. For those who only need one project, you can create it by clicking on Projects tab in the top toolbar and then selecting Create Project.
After you’re done setting everything up, hit create and you should see the dashboard of your new project. Here you’ll now be able to create new tasks or upload documents and files which are important for this particular project.
This is basically what you’re gonna be looking at for the majority of time spent in Prozacta. Task list of the newly created project of ours has a task which we have added, if you want to add files notice the project actions menu in the right sidebar where you not only can upload new files and documents important for the project, but you can also add more tasks, they are not limited in the free account.
Using this project and task management web service, together with file storage which is offered by Prozacta is very simple. Interface even has a very similar look to that of Google, notice the tabs at the top of the dashboard on the first image from above. Registration is also very simple, you don’t even have to confirm your email. Search function is also included in the top right corner of the screen where you can search files and easily go through tasks if you have added a lot of them to the project list. Take a few seconds, register an account and check how easily you can manage project with Prozacta.
