Webroot System Analyzer is a free system scanner which you can use in order to scan your computer and search for security threats, problematic configurations, junk file pile up, possible hardware failure and a lot of other problems which could be causing your computer performance to drop. Windows operating systems are known to slow down with time, and doing quick performance scans like the ones offered by Webroot System Analyzer is key in keeping your system running properly.
Great thing about Webroot is that it’s very small, installation file is less than a megabyte in size and in order to download it, you’re gonna have to register with the Webroot website. A disadvantage of the System Analyzer would be that after it finishes scanning and after it locates errors, it will not be able to fix the problems which it found, it’s just a scanner, which will only advise you on things that could be causing system problems. Webroot System Analyzer will check to see if:
- Your system security settings are properly configured
- If there are any updates available
- Check if there are unnecessary files present which could slow down the PC
- Check system crash logs for any signs of hardware failure
- Advise on system resources and possible hardware upgrades
Webroot System Analyzer doesn’t require installation, it will run right away and you can run it, and to start using it you just need to click on the Begin button and wait for the results.

Temporary and other junk files are also checked and we’re warned that they are present on the system. These could cause you to lose disk space, especially if they are not deleted on a regular basis.
