Asphalt Xtreme is a free off-road racing game app for Windows 10. People who have been fans of the racing game circuit know that Asphalt has been a household name, and gamers always anticipate new sequels of this game. Asphalt Xtreme has been developed by Gameloft, the same developer who has developed the other Asphalt games. Asphalt Xtreme is based on an off-road racing game concept where all the racing takes place in real world locations. The game is well polished and amazingly it ran exceptionally smoothly on even my laptop with no external graphics card. The game has multiple seasons, and each season has various levels. The game also allows you to play with various cars that you can purchase with your earned game credits.

Controls of the game
The game relies heavily on keyboard controls, and can be played either in full screen or in windowed mode.
- Up Arrow: Accelerate
- Down Arrow: Brake
- Right Arrow: Turn right
- Left Arrow: Turn left
- Spacebar: Use nitro
With the combination of above buttons, you can also execute various stunts like drifts, backflips etc.
Main features of Asphalt Xtreme for Windows 10
When you run the game, first, you will be asked to input your age and choose your gender.
Click Accept and you will be taken into your basic training. This is shown in the screenshot below.
You can keep an eye on your speed at the top center, the pause button at the top left and various other information like laps etc. is also enlisted around the speedometer itself. Once you are through with the basic training, the game takes you to advanced training.
In the advanced training, you compete with other racers (played by CPU, not online real players). Here, you are taught advanced things like stunts etc. Once the advanced training is also over, you will be brought in to the garage to purchase your first car.
On making your purchase, you will be taken to the season selection screen.
This is then followed by the level selection screen. Upon choosing your level, you will be taken right to the pre race booster selection screen.
Upon clicking on the Start Race button, the race starts where you compete with your chosen car against other racers.
The game has awesome graphics and runs exceptionally smoothly. Although the controls of the game can be easily understood by you, it’s still pretty tough to master this game, thereby ensuring that you will be hooked!
