This article covers how to search Slack, Dropbox, Trello, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Dropbox paper from one place. You can enter search query and results will be visible to you in real-time. You can view all those files and folders in all of these services which match the search query. Clicking on a result will open that file/folder in a new tab on the associated service. For doing this, you need to use Google Chrome browser and a free extension named “Agille“. This extension lets you connect your accounts and then it helps to search files and folders in all those connected accounts.

All these services come with their native search feature which works really good. However, when you have to search files and folders in all these platforms together, then built-in search doesn’t come in handy. Therefore, this Chrome extension is a good choice.

search results visible in different services

In the screenshot above, you can see that I performed a search, and it is showing matching results from all the connected services. This extension is similar to some application launcher software. The only difference is instead of finding files and folders stored in your PC, it finds the items stored in the connected services.

In that way, you can connect other available services.

Step 4: To begin the search, you can again click on its extension and a new tab will open. There you will see the Search bar. Use that bar and enter search query.

It will immediately begin the search and show you the results.

The Conclusion:

This Chrome extension is very good for all those users who use Slack, Google Drive, Trello, Dropbox, etc., on daily basis and want to search files and folders in all those services from one place. Just install this extension, connect supported services as per your requirements, and begin search with a single click. I wish it would had come with the feature to connect multiple accounts of a same service, but only one account of a service can be connected. Still, overall the extension is good to use.
