Musicus is a versatile Windows 10 music player app. The app allows you to listen to music from online sources as well as allows you to listen to tracks stored on your device. The app has one of the most polished interfaces that I have seen on any music player app on Windows 10, and it works great on even low end Windows 10 devices. The app allows you to sort music tracks by various categories like artists, albums, all tracks etc. The app is very lightweight and has smooth transitional animations.
Musicus is available for free from the Windows App Store.
Main features of Musicus for Windows 10:
Running the app presents you with an interface where you can explore music tracks from online sources. This is the online mode of the app.
Simply click on the track and playback should start. Once the playback starts, you will be brought into the playback screen.
You can also manually access the playback screen by clicking on the playback button in the bar on the leftmost side of the screen. The playback screen houses controls which allow you to seek, play, pause etc. The app also has a cool little search option which allows you to search for locally saved tracks as well as online.
You can filter your search results by songs, artists, albums etc. The locally stored tracks can be accessed by you from the bar on the left, and these will appear in a manner as shown below.
As is the case with online tracks, the playback can be started by clicking on the track name inside the app interface itself. You can also sort the tracks by artists, albums etc.
Overall, the app has a clean interface with perfectly smooth animations that work fine on all devices. Overall, this is one hell of a music player which is powerful and versatile at the same time!
