There are many services out there that let you send messages to Twitter by sending a text message, or using a Twitter client for your phone. However, TwitterFone is a completely unique service. It lets you send tweets by just speaking your Twitter message on your cellphone, and the message will be sent as Tweet!
TwitterFone works by converting your voice to text, and then sending that Text as your Twitter message. For that, you need to registed your cellphone, and Twitter account with TwitterFone. After that, you can just dial the TwitterFone number in your country, and speak your Twitter message, and just hang up. Apart from just posting tweets on Twitter, TwitterFone also lets you hear your Twitter stream. While you are hearing your Twitter timeline, you can reply to a message, send a Direct Message, and go back and forward. This essentially means that you can manage your entire Twitter account through your cellphone while you are on the move. It is like having a Twitter client on your phone, without actually having a smartphone!
TwitterFone works with any cellphone, so you do not need to have a smart phone. TwitterFone is completely free. It has numbers in many countries, including, USA, UK, France, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Italy, Spain, and many more.
TwitterFone is in beta at the time of writing this article, and you need an invite to join this free service. You can request for an invite on the website, and it says that it will send invite in around a week’s time.
