Free Disk Partition Software: Wondershare Disk Manager

Wondershare Disk Manager is a free drive partitioning software to create partition, delete partition, recover partition, resize partition, convert partition, format partition, and copy partition. Wondershare Disk Manager lets you perform all these type of partitioning operations easily.

We have reviewed many partition software earlier, but Wondershare Disk Manager is one of the easiest to use partition managers that we have come across. It comes with a wizard style interface that lets you choose the operation you want to perform, and then follow steps for that.

Here are some of the operations that Wondershare Disk Manager supports:

Create Partition: This disk partition software lets you easily create new partition on your hard drive. This is especially useful if you have got a new computer that has just one partition. You can create another partition in that in which you can store all the data, so that even if system partition crashes, there is a probability to recover your data.

Delete Partition: Wondershare Disk Manager lets you delete any existing partition. This is useful if you have multiple partitions that you want to delete, and then use that space to create a single partition. While deleting partition, you can also choose to shred data in that.

Copy Partition: This is a useful feature to backup data of any partition. You can copy a partition to another partition, or even to another storage device.

Resize Partition: This feature lets you change size of a partition. You can increase or decrease size of the partition. If you are trying to reduce size of a partition, Wondershare Disk Manager ensures that data on that partition is not lost.

Recover Partition: If you accidentally delete a partition, you can recover that with recover partition feature. You can specify the space in your hard drive in which you want to search for partitions, and Wondershare Disk Manager will find all the lost and deleted partitions for you. Then you can choose to recover those partitions.

Format Partition: You can easily format any partition. This is useful to shred all the data on an existing partition, or just to reinstall OS.

Convert Partition: Wondershare Disk Manager lets you convert a partition from NTFS to FAT, or FAT to NTFS.

Apart from these operations, you can also hide/unhide any partition, and set any partition as active partition.
