TwitRobot is a free service to schedule future tweets, and also setup recurring tweets. TwitRobot can also check your RSS feed, and tweet new posts in your Twitter account. You can evet set it up to send automatic tweets about a particular category. All for Free!
Here are some features of this free Twitter software:
Submit your Blog feed to Twitter:
If you have a RSS feed, you can assign that to TwitRobot. Whenever a new item will become available in your feed, TwitRobot will send it as a tweet to your Twitter account. It will automatically shorten the URLs as well.
Schedule Future Tweets:
TwitRobot lets you schedule tweets for the future. Let’s say you are going on a vacation, and will not be able to tweet during that time. You can schedule future tweets for that time, so that you constantly keep your Twitter followers updated.
Send Automatic Tweets of your Favorite Subject
TwitRobot also lets you post automatic tweets for your favorite subjects. The option that I prefer for this is to setup a RSS feed from my favorite sources, and then feed that to my Twitter account (as explained above). If you do not want to do that, TwitRobot lets you pick up a category of your choice (like Money), and then automatically sends tweets related to that category.
TwitRobot can also send recurring tweets for you. You just need to specify the time interval at which you want to send a tweet. TwitRobot will randomly pick an item from your RSS, and will tweet that for you.
Show your Product Advertisement:
TwitRobot shortens the links automatically. Whenever someone clicks on those links, the page will show your product at the top, and the option to follow you. This would be really helpful if you are trying to sell some product. This has the potential to do viral marketing for you.
No Need to Provide Twitter password:
TwitRobot uses OAuth authentication to connect to your Twitter account. So, you do not need to provide your password to TwitRobot. This makes it pretty safe.
TwitRobot is a good way to blast your tweets to Twitter account. It would also come handy if you have a website or blog, and want to feed your new posts to Twitter automatically. If you want to follow lot of users in one go, you can try BuzzOm.
