Here’s a list of X student planner extensions for Google Chrome which you can use to better organize your student life and chores. People seem to think that students have it easy, but school and definitely college can be stressful at times, and having everything planned out, organized and in check can help in times of crises, when a paper is due and you’re running late or you haven’t studied enough for an exam.
Let’s see what we found in the Chrome webstore.
myHomework Student Planner
Even though this student planer extension might not be aimed at college students specifically (it’s geared more towards high schoolers), you can still make use of it.
You’ll have to register an account with the extension’s website in order to use it. myHomework helps you keep track of classes, assignments, projects and tests. Use the sidebar on the left to switch between whatever you wanna keep track of. There’s a calendar available for more easier overview over everything that needs to be done, in other words for the actual planning. Home tab gives you overview over the most important assignments that need to be completed.
Have you ever had problems organizing online resources used in your studies? If you have, then FreshGrade can help.
With FreshGrade you’ll be able to save and group links for your lectures so that they are more easily found later on, but that’s only half of what this student planner extension can do. The other useful feature for student hides under the Activities tab. By opening it, you’re taken to a page where you can plan your activities, add study group meetings, important lectures, etc. To use FreshGrade, you will have to register and again, this app is not exactly aimed at all types of students (college), it’s not aimed at students at all to be honest (it’s designed for teachers), but we found that it can still be usable as a way to organize and plan your student life. Try it and see.

Now here’s a Google Chrome extension that’s gonna be useful for college students.
For the supported 7 universities (Emory, Hebrew University, IDC Herzlya, Kings College London, University of Maryland, Washington University and Wharton), you’ll be able to login with your student IDs and passwords and then pull in class schedule into Chrome. So that you always know about your next class.
Even though the list above is short, these are still apps that can help out a great deal, regardless of what kind of student you are. We especially suggest myHomework Student Planner because it’s a very versatile student planner extension that can help you organize your schedule and assignments more easily. Another thing that we noticed and we suggest that you look into is that a lot of universities have something similar to student planer extensions of their own posted in the Chrome Web Store. Just look under your own university name and you should be able to find an extension for it. We haven’t covered each one of them individually, they’re there, so check them out.
