Workouts (by New York Times) is a free website that provides 7 minutes workout sessions. It supports animated illustration for different exercises. This is very useful to do a particular exercise properly. Performing the 7-minutes workout can help you make your body and mind fit and active. So, when you don’t have time to go to the gym, you can follow the 7-minutes workout.
This website comes with two different types of 7 minutes workout: The Scientific 7-Minute Workout and The Advanced 7-Minute Workout. This is another interesting thing that makes it different than many other similar websites. Both of these workouts comes with multiple exercises.
How To Use This Website to Perform 7 Minutes Workout?
You first need to access the homepage of this website. You may use the link added at the end of this review. After accessing its homepage, you can start with any type of workout. You also have the choice to start with male or female voice narrator to help you perform the exercises.
The Scientific 7-Minute Workout:
This workout contains 12 different exercises. Jumping jacks, squat, step-up onto chair, plank, side plank, and other exercises which come under this workout. Before starting the workout session, you can also see the names of all those 12 exercises. See the screenshot below. Hovering the mouse cursor over a particular exercise will help you to see its animated illustration.
When you are ready, tap on Begin Workout button. With a 5 seconds preparation time, the first exercise will begin. You will be able to see the animation of the exercise and can do that exercise. When the first exercise will be over, you can take rest for 10 seconds. Then the second exercise will begin and so on.
Perform all exercises to complete the workout. In between the exercise or break, you can also pause the workout, and resume it.
The Advanced 7-Minute Workout:
This workout provides 9 different exercises. You will be required dumbbells to perform some of the exercises available in this workout. Push up to row to burpee, plank with arm lift, lateral lung to overhead triceps extension, bentover row alternating arms, etc., are the exercises that come with this workout.
Tap the Begin Workout button available for this workout and start the workout session. One by one, exercises will come with animated illustration, and you need to do those exercises. Do all the exercises and complete the session.
Workouts is really a great website that offers 7 minutes workout. In my opinion, it is surely a much better than other similar websites as it comes with two different types of 7-minutes workout which contains 21 different exercises.
