Audio Pitch & Shift is a portable audio player which is designed to bring some interesting changes in your favorite songs. You can change the pace of songs and adjust the pitch in the music. This audio player can meet the requirements of the musicians who try to bring changes in the pitching of the songs or slow down the music. Audio Pitch & Shift utilizes Bass audio library technology that has multi-platform and is x64 compatible. It is compatible with the module format and performs the playback adjustment settings perfectly. Installing this free Audio Player

Installing the software is pretty easy and it can be installed in less than 5 minutes. The software is available for free and you need to go here to download Audio Pitch & Shift. After you click on the download button a zip file gets downloaded in your machine. Just unzip the file and click on the Audio Pitch icon. The installation process will start and you need to follow the simple instructions to complete the installation. You can launch the software within minutes of installation and start using it. You can also try aTunes, Atomic Player and Lyricist.

The controls of the software are available on the main interface. You will find them at the centre and settings can be found on the right panel. You can use the sliders to change the intensity and make different effects. The interface is pretty simple to use and has a simple look. You need to play around a little to understand the effect of all the buttons. At the lower end you can see the BPM rate of the song, the playback controls allow you to play multiple songs in your playlist just like your media player.

Using Audio Pitch & Shift

There is the settings option at the top left corner which helps you in changing the Network, Bass and Association settings. Then you can find the type and rate tab, this enables you to change the type of the song. For example if it is in WMA then you can change it into MP3 format using this tab and save it in the desired rate and format.

To open any song from your computer you need to click on the up arrow present at the centre of the software near the forward button. Below these settings you can find the volume, mixer and effects settings. The mixer settings allow you to change the volume control on the output and effects change the speed and pitching of the song.

At the right panel of the software you find following options:

  • Distortion
  • Chorus
  • Flanger
  • Echo
  • Reverb
  • Priority
  • Modules

Distortion option mainly focuses on stopping the song, whereas Chorus option changes the Drymix, Depth, Feedback and Frequency. The priority option helps you to change the FX priority of the software.

Along with the above mentioned settings you can also find the usual settings that are there in a media player.
