This tutorial explains how to generate battery report in Windows 10.

Step 1: You need to ‘run Command Prompt with Administrative privilege‘. You can take help of Search box or Win+X menu to run Command Prompt.

Step 2: You need to execute a command: powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\Users\YourPCName\Desktop\battery_report.html". The output file is generated in HTML format. The output location and battery report name could be anything.

Step 3: Open the report and you will be able to see:

  • Information related to currently installed battery
