Update 2022: This website no longer exists now. We recommend you to try some other alternative instead.

This tutorial explains how to automatically delete all retweets from your Twitter account. It can be done in an easier way using a free online tool, called “RT Cleaner“. This tool deletes all the retweets you have done so far automatically. Also, it monitors your Twitter account for new retweets. When you do some new retweets, it removes those retweets also after some time.

Using this tool is also very easy. In fact, everything is done by the tool itself. You just need to sign in with your Twitter account and see the magic.

Note: It is mentioned on the homepage that new retweets are deleted after 10 minutes of their arrival. However, it took more than 10 minutes to remove new retweets during my testing.

How To Automatically Delete All Retweets from Your Twitter Account?

Step 1: Click on this link to open the homepage of this tool.

Step 2: Now sign in with your Twitter account and then you need to permit this tool to access your Twitter account. This is mandatory because then only this tool will be able to delete all your retweets.

Step 3: You need to wait for a second or more to let the tool find all your retweets and remove them. You can refresh the tab to check how many retweets are deleted. Or else, simply open your Twitter account and then you can check if there are any retweets or not. You will find that all the retweets are removed by this tool.

When you want to stop this tool from deleting your retweets, you can simply log out.

The Verdict:

It is not easy to access all retweets separately because there is no separate section for retweets (such as Likes, Followers, Following, etc.). So, when we have to delete retweets, we need to find them manually under Tweets section. This could be a very lengthy process, but RT Cleaner deletes all retweets automatically and in seconds.
