Super Tux Kart is a fun to play racing game. You can select from various Tux & friends characters and each of them have their own style of Karts to race along the tracks. Play in: story mode, single player, and multiplayer modes. This game download size is around 150 MB and you can download it for Windows, Mac, and Linux. About This Free Kart Racing Game:
This Kart racing game is designed specially for fun. In this racing game, you can earn points, cups, the cars are designed with nitrous cylinders, and you can collect special gifts. All the characters in this game are cartoon based and you get to choose your own character and kart. Let’s see what are the various modes of gameplay in this game.
- Storyline Mode: In storyline mode, you get to choose your own character and then you will be placed in a field. You will see huts all over the field, each hut has a number indicated on it. The number indicates the number of points required to enter the race. Initially you can enter the zero indicated hut and earn points by completing race in: novice, normal, and difficult mode. Then you can enter other huts and play those races.
- Single Player: In single player mode you can play on tracks, with different Tux characters for practice. There will be no competitors in this single player mode and you can only compete against your own best time.
- Multiplayer: In multiplayer mode, you can race against other racers but after earning points in storyline mode only. Then only you can unlock races in multiplayer mode and pay them.
Gameplay and Controls of Super Tux Kart:
Any mode of race you play, the gameplay remains the same. You have to race against others and avoid their traps. Your racing kart is designed with nitrous, you just have to collect nitrous cylinders placed on the track and you can also collect gift boxes; which contain secret weapons to help you along the race. Just use the nitrous to race faster and fire those gift boxes to take control of the game.
The left top shows the position of your kart, left bottom shows the track map, and the right top shows the points you have earned till now.
The controls of the game are:
- Arrow keys to control the kart.
- Use Space bar to fire the gift boxes or secret weapons that you collect along the tracks.
- Press [N] key to fire nitrous after you have collected them.
- Press Escape to go to menu options.
Super Tux Kart is a good kart racing game, with good graphics and background music. You can also try other interesting Car racing games and bike racing games.
