Cloudflare has launched a dedicated internet speed tester to check download speed of your internet connection. It is simple and effective and creates a very detailed graphical representation of the tests that it carries out. You just have to visit the website and the speed test will start automatically. Just let it calculate the internet speed and then share your results or download the report in CSV. This is as simple as that and there is no sign-up or Cloudflare login is required.
There are plenty of bandwidth speed checkers out here but here is worth a try. After the successful launch of Cloudflare DNS, now they have put the speed tester forward. You can just test your internet speed in a click and download the results. This is as simple as that. Even though some people are having some disagreements with the results it produces but let’s see how it performs in the long run.
Using Internet Speed Test by Cloudflare to Check Upload/Download Speed:
You can just go to the homepage of the Speed Test from here. Next, you can just let it test the speed and then analyze the results. There is no signup or registration required or even sign in with Cloudflare. The test can take a while till then you just stay patient and let it do the hard work for you. This is as simple as that.
Now, when it has tested the internet connection, you can see the results there. Analyze all the speed test payments like jitter or latency and then export the download speed test to a CSV file. You can see the exported CSV file in my case in the screenshot below.
In this way, you can simply use this speed tester from Cloudflare. I think it is nice but takes more time than the other speed testers of its kind. And I think that aspect of this speed tester can be improved in the later updates.
If you want to try a new speed test web app then try this one here by Cloudflare. I personally still think that Google’s speed test is still better as this one is kind of slow. But you can still try it and see how it works out for you. So, just give it a try and let me know what you think about it.
