Megavideo is a great website for video streaming, but it comes with a stupid limitation for free accounts. If you have a free account, you cannot play a video that is longer than 42 minutes. Megavideo will stop playing the video after 42 minutes, and you will have to wait for sometime before the video will resume again.
Here is a solution to remove Megavideo restriction: Illimitux.
Illimitux is a free plugin for Google Chrome and Firefox. When you play any Megavideo in your browser, Illimitux will detect that. It will then ask you if you want to remove the restriction. If you are playing a long video, you will want to click on that. Once you do that, Illimitux will open the video in its own website, and will play long video from Megavideo without any restriction.
Illimitux provides similar controls like Megavideo does. You can control volume of videos, and play videos in full screen mode.
Apart from Megavideo, Illimitux also removes restriction from Veoh. So, you can play Veoh videos that are longer than 5 minutes, without need to download Veoh player. For Veoh also, Illimitux will open the video in its own site, and will remove Veoh restriction.
