Visual Lightbox is a free image gallery generator that allows you to create online photo galleries using a variety of visual effects and styles. You can use Visual Lightbox with jQuery or Prototype as a plugin. Visual Lightbox can take the images that you provide, and generate a photo gallery with nice overlay effect. You can add the generate photo gallery to a web page, or just store in your PC.
Thanks to its built-in FTP, you can directly upload photo galleries to the web, either as part of a webpage or in full page mode. You can also create photo slideshows and set them to automatically start on opening the page.
No special programming skills are required to upload photo galleries to the web with Visual Lightbox as you can simply create online photo galleries by dragging the images onto the Visual Lightbox window and selecting Publish.

Your images will automatically be resized to fit on the screen and you are also provided with rotating and scaling options equipped with an anti-aliasing technique. You can create photo slideshows as well using Visual Lightbox, which allows you to control how fast you want your photos to change and how long they will appear on the screen. The cross-fade transition from one photo to another will be smooth and floating and you can configure the slideshow to start on opening the page using this free image utility.
