Forgotten Attachment Detector is a free plugin for Microsoft Outlook that alerts you if you forget to attach an attachment in your email message.
Forgotten Attachment Detector works based on a set of pre-defined keywords. It searches your message for those keywords. Here are some of the keywords it looks for in messages: “Have attached”, “find attached”, “PFA” etc. You can even add your own keywords to the list.
If it sees that your message has one of those keywords, but no attachment, Forgotten Attachment Detector will alert you before you send the message.
Apart for looking for keywords, Forgotten Attachment Detector can also search for secondary keywords, along with document context to further figure out if you wanted to send an attachment with your message.
Forgotten Attachment Detector is a really good plugin for regular Outlook users. I have personally send these type of emails lot of times where I wanted to send an attachment, but forgot to attach. Forgotten Attachment Detector would have really come in handy in those cases.
