In this tutorial, you will learn how to create group invite links on Facebook Messenger. Yesterday Meta introduced one of the most requested features for Facebook Messenger; that is groups invite links. If you have created a group chat on Messenger before then you know it can be painful to manually add members in it. But with the invite link, this will no longer be a problem. Now, you can just turn on invite link and share it with anyone.

WhatsApp has this kind of feature. But if you have some id on Facebook then you can now use the same feature there as well. The invite links are unique to every Messenger group chat and can be revoked anytime as well. So, when you don’t want people to automatically join your group chat then it can come in handy. It is now a great tool that can grow your chat group on Messenger exponentially.

The group invite link feature is now generally available to all the users. If you can’t see it then try updating the Messenger app to the latest version. For now, only the group chat admins can enable and generate invite links.

Now, you can just send this link to anyone you wish to add to the group. You can send them via direct message, over text, or you can simply post your invite links on Facebook profile. People can just tap and join your group.

Send Group Invite Link Anywhere

This is how you can now enable and generate group chat invite links on Facebook Messenger. The process is very smooth and easy to follow. However, if later you see that many unknown or scammer type people are joining and ruining your group then you can always go back to the chat settings and disable the group invite link.

Closing words:

I personally like this feature so much. Since Facebook removed the chat feature from Facebook groups, me and other group admins have to manually add people to the chat. But now all thanks to Meta for introducing this feature to automatically add people to the group chats without manually inviting them or approving them.
