NetBalancer is a new free application that will allow you improve your internet browsing capabilities. NetBalancer manages internet bandwidth used by different applications. It comes in good use when you are already downloading files, you have just to adjust the network priority of your download program. So, you will be able to browse net comfortably, and your download manager or torrent client will use only remaining bandwidth.


NetBalancer offers support for most operating systems. Currently it works on Windows XP/2003/Vista and even the latest Windows 7. It is not supported on Vista and Windows 7 on 64 bits version.

Browse and do any internet activity comfortably even when your download manager or torrent client downloads huge files from internet – just lower their network priority with NetBalancer. Applications where you use a high network priority will receive more bandwidth while the other programs where you give the low network priority flag will be disadvantaged.

When  using the free version of NetBalancer please take notice it only supports 5 priorities/limits at once.

Apart from managing bandwidth used by different applications, NetBalancer can also monitor internet traffic, by show ing you the internet traffic in and out of each application. It can show current connection for any process, overall system traffic as a graph, and download/upload traffic from any process.

NetBalancer is a very useful tool for those with limited bandwidth. While you are browsing web, just lower priority of your download programs, and resume their priority when you are done. So, you will get a good browsing experience even when downloading big files.
