Sprout is a free service which lets you create a free virtual space to share with your friends or co-workers for collaborating or just a fun place to hangout. The free virtual space let’s you share your video and audio and play fun games. You can add your friends by just sending them a link to join. Your friends don’t have to sign up, they can just click the link and enter their name to join in.
All the added members can join in through video and audio mode. So you will be able to see each other and talk to each other. Its like a virtual hangout with your friends.
To access this website use the link given at the end of this article. When you click the link, the home page of the website will open up which will look like the screenshot below.
Just click the button which says create a space and you will be asked to enter your email address.
Once you do that, a confirmation email will be sent to your account. Once you verify your email, you will be asked to enter your name and then you will be taken to a page like the one you see in the screenshot below.
Here click on the create space button on the top left and your space will be created and would look like the screenshot below.
As you can see the virtual space has the option to share your audio and video on the top left side of the screen. When you click on the video option, you will be asked to give permission to access your web camera. You can also see a share option. When you click this share option you will get a link which you can copy and send to your friends who you would like to invite to your hangout.
There are purple colored windows, when you take your mouse over to it you will see your video take the shape of that window. You can lock your video to keep it in that window or you can just leave it floating along with the mouse cursor.
On the bottom left side you can see a box full of stickers. You can search for stickers that you are looking for and then paste them on to the virtual space. You can create a fun space using all the stickers provided.
You can also publish your space as a web page. The option to do this can be found at the top left side corner with three lines as its icon. From here you can just choose to publish your space as a web page if you like.
