Using The QuizUp Game:
Download the app by searching for its name on itunes Store or click on the link to given at the end of the review. The app will ask you to connect your Facebook and Twitter account to the app. You can either choose to connect them or skip it. In case you have skipped it, then you need to sign-up for an account with the app. I would recommend you to connect as you will be able to find your friends who might be playing the game.
The app will show you the topics which you might like to play. At the top right corner you will see a three bar icon. Tap the icon to explore the app. Here you can check everything regarding both app and your account. The sidebar has following options: Home, Topics, Friends, History, Messages, Discussions, Achievements, The Store and Settings.
Gameplay Of The QuizUp Game:
The gameplay of QuizUp game is very simple. You have to choose the topic which interests you or you can also choose any other topic. After choosing the topic, the app starts searching for an opponent of your experience level. When the opponent is found, the quiz starts. There are total of 7 rounds. You get 10 seconds to answer the question in each round. The questions are always multiple choice questions i.e. you have 4 options to choose from. Tap on the option which you think or know is the right answer. If the answer is right, then you will get points depending upon the time taken to answer the question. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. This way, you have to play all 7 levels. The last level is always a 2x level. It means you get double the point as compared to the points that you receive after answering the question in earlier 6 levels.
When the quiz ends, the player with maximum points is declared the winner. If the scores are level, then the result is considered as draw. You get XP points depending on your score, and various bonuses like victory bonus, powerup bonus and finish bonus. These XP points help you in moving up the levels and unlock new achievements. You can also check the Match Details via a graphical representation. The app also allows you to cross check the answers given by you and your opponent. The app lets you share the results via Facebook and Twitter. You can even save the result to Camera Roll.
