This tutorial explains how to create and delete custom Power Plan in Windows 8.

Power Plan is a set of various system and hardware settings that controls how your device uses the Power. By default, three different plans are provided: Balanced, Power Saver, and High Performance.

  • Balanced: It is recommended setting. It actually balances performance with energy consumption on capable hardware automatically.
  • Power Saver: It reduces computer performance (wherever possible) to save energy.
  • High Performance: It favors performance, but uses more energy.

You can easily create Power Plan as per your choice for your Device. And once created, you can delete that Power Plan as well, unlike Default Power Plans.
