Pike (beta) is a fantastic Chrome extension to add private comments or notes to webpages. You can then see those comments yourself whenever you visit those webpages, or you can also share them with friends (they will also need to have this extension installed).
When you have to add something important to a particular paragraph of a webpage (or article), this plugin can come in handy. Moreover, you can mention friends to share the webpage and let them read your private comments. They can also reply to you and you will receive real-time notification for any reply. So this extension is really handy when you have to discuss something about a page with colleagues or need to keep important notes on a particular webpage for later use.
You and your friends need to install this extension and login with their Google account to use this extension. After this, you can select text on a webpage to add private notes to that content.
Above you can see the pop up window of this extension where it shows my private comments and comments shared with friends.
Note: This extension doesn’t work on the homepages of websites but works perfectly for the rest of the pages. I hope the stable release of this extension will fix this issue.
