Good news for all Quora (one of the popular question and answer websites) users. The official Chrome extension of Quora is available now. Basically, this extension helps to get notification alerts for your Quora account. So whenever someone will comment on your answers, questions, upvote your questions and answers, someone will follow you, and other things, you will receive notification alerts in your Chrome browser.
You will see the total number of new notifications on its extension icon. Clicking on that icon will direct you to your Quora account and you will be able to check all the notifications.
The benefit of this extension is that you don’t have to reserve (or say keep open) a tab to check notifications on your Quora account. This extension will alert you whenever a new notification arrives.

Here is the homepage link of this official Quora Chrome extension. Open its homepage and use ADD…. button to install it. After this, the icon of this extension will appear on top right corner.
If you are already signed in to your Quora account, then its extension icon will show you the total number of new notifications. However, if you are not signed in, then of course it won’t show notifications until you sign in to your Quora account.
That’s all you need to do. Its icon will alert you as soon as a new notification comes on your Quora account. You can tap on the icon to jump to your Quora account and read the notifications.
Conclusion:
Quora users can benefit with this extension as they will remain updated about new notifications without checking their Quora accounts again and again. Still I have few more expectations with this extension. It would be good if the feature like show new notifications in a pop-up, instead of directing the users to their accounts, is provided. It would be pretty useful as you will be able to decide if notifications are worth opening in your Quora account or not.
