Shark Ticker is a free stock ticker for desktop that comes with price alerts for individual stocks. This free stock ticker displays right above your taskbar in a very non-obtrusive form, and takes very less space. You can specify as many stock symbols as you want to.
Shark Ticker lets you set alerts for individual stocks. You can set alert for low price or high price or both. When your stocks meet those alerting conditions, ticker for them starts flashing so that you immediately know your stock has breached price limits. Some other stock tracking software that we reviewed earlier include: JStock, Quote Tracker, and AceStock.
Shark Ticker is extremely easy to use free stock ticker. You can choose to show it at top of screen as well, instead of bottom of screen. The interface is easy to understand. However, it has not been updated in quite some time (last release was in 2007), but it works just fine.
