    Great product.
I personally use Sandisk’s secure USB flash drives but software can give a fair solution too.

@Edgar Pierce: Those are indeed pretty good, but amazingly expensive. This free software is a good solution for any average user.

I like free, but don’t like losing all of my files. I used USB Safeguard to encrypt some files which worked fine. I deleted the originals. When I wanted to restore, I entered my password and it showed that there were no files to restore! I lost everything!

@Jeff: I am really sorry to hear that. I tried this product again, and it worked fine for me. I am not sure why this caused a problem for you.

Simply because Jeff has used the program with a USB external hard drive or others devices, the program is for USB pen drive!!!

The program works perfectly and I use it every day with my 4GB Verbatim pen drive at school :)

@Mitch: You are right – that might be the case :)

There is nothing FREE about this software. Who carries around a measly 2 GB drive anymore? No one, that’s who. I could barely fit a very large spreadsheet on a 2 Gig drive. So, since the free version only supports up to a 2 Gig drive, then the software is virtually useless.
