Restore Birdie is a Chrome extension specially made to get the old Twitter Bird logo back on the platform. This one is for all the lovers of Twitter’s cute little bird. I’m sure they were not happy when the Twitter bird was replaced by the ‘X’ logo.
As most of you must be knowing that Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo from the blue bird to a big ‘X’. It was not a welcome change for many Twitter users. We actually relate to Twitter through that blue bird. With the bird gone, it feels just not right. I think the developers of this Chrome extension thought the same thing, that Twitter is not what it is without the bird. So this extension was made to bring back the blue bird to your Twitter profile.
So this Chrome extension is going to help everyone who did not like this logo change and want the birdie back as their profile logo.
Let’s see how this Chrome extension works:
Open your Twitter page once and see. This is what your Twitter logo looks like right now.
Go to the extension page using the link provided at the end of this article. The chrome extension will open up in your browser. You can click the add to Chrome button to add this extension.
You will see a permission pop up to add this Chrome extension. Click add extension here.
Once the process is done, you will see a pop up at the top right side of your browser like the one shown in the screenshot below.
The pop up simply says that your extension has been added. Now when you refresh you Twitter page you will have the old birdie back on Twitter.
The above screenshot shows that logo change to the old Twitter bird.
Restore Birdie is a nice Chrome extension to bring back the Twitter bird logo. All Twitter users who were missing this bird after the logo was changed to “x”, have a chance to have their beloved bird logo back on Twitter.
