There is no need to restart Firefox browser after installation. Now you will be able to see a small white ghost icon on your browser toolbar. This is the icon for opening a page in new private window.

Now you can go to the website you have subscribed to and when you reach an article page which you want to read but do not want it to show up in your subscription activity, then just click the white ghost icon in your toolbar. This will open a copy of the current page you are on, in a new private window, as can be seen in the screenshot below.

The original page will not close, it will still be there. The addon also does not delete any browsing history from your browser.

Conclusion:

This Firefox addon can prove to be useful on websites which have a limit on number of articles you can read in a day or a month. Opening the article in a private window will not contribute to the limit set by that website. The addon can easily be activated by a single click on its icon of a white ghost.
