RealTimeToe is a free iPhone tic tac toe game to play with random people. This game connects you with random people so that you both can enjoy a good game of tic tac toe. You can choose to play Easy or Hard game as per your preference. The game matches you with a stranger of same level. The app doesn’t provide any filter or search criteria to find strangers. So, the strangers are completely random.
You can choose to set an username for yourself which will be visible to your opponent. Apart from playing online, the game also includes a Local mode to play. In this mode, you can play offline with yourself or your friend. For both local and online game mode, this game displays a timer to show the time elapsed since the start of game.
Gameplay of this iPhone Tic Tac Toe Game to Play with Random People:
When you will launch this iPhone tic tac toe game, you will see the game modes: Local Game and Real Time Game. As the name suggests, you can easily figure out which mode is offline and which one is online.
To play online against random strangers, tap on Real Time Game mode. You will get a pop-up to choose the game mode: Easy and Hard. On choosing the preferred game mode, you will have to wait for a few seconds so that game can find a random stranger and then connect you both for a game.
- Easy: This mode consists of only 1 tic tac toe game.
- Hard: This mode consists of 4 tic tac toe games in which best of 4 is declared as winner of the game.
You can choose to play next game just after the finish of current game. The only restriction in this game is lives. The game gives you 5 lives in one go and you lose 1 live per game played. When you lose all lives, then you have to wait for 1 hour to get your lives back. If you don’t want to wait, then you can upgrade to PRO version (Paid) for unlimited continuous games.
The Local Game mode is exactly similar to the Real Time Game mode except for the fact it is played locally. You can choose to play both turns yourself or you can also play with your friends. The level of the game are also similar to the Real Time Game.
The Settings option at the bottom of app’s home screen lets you change your nickname for game. It is set to Guest by default.

RealTimeToe is a good iPhone tic tac toe game to play with random people. I liked the game as it was fun to play against real people although I did end up losing a few games. If you are a fan of tic tac toe, then its a must try game for you. The only thing I wish is that they should have kept the waiting time a little less, then it would have added to the fun of the game.
