Real Simple No Time To Cook is a iPhone cooking app which lets you check and learn the recipes which can be cooked within 20, 30 or 40 minutes. The app has 6 categories of main ingredients to choose from: Poultry, Beef or Lamb, Pork, Seafood, Pasta and Vegetarian.

The app has large collection of recipes, but only 3 recipes in each category and time interval are unlocked in free version.

You can filter the recipes based on various criteria: Low Calorie, One-Pot, No-Cook, Family-Friendly, Make-Ahead etc. The app shows step-by-side guide to make it easier for you to understand the recipe. You can share the recipes via Facebook, Twitter and email. The app also displays a tip and nutritional info related to each recipe.

Using This Cooking App:

You can download the Real Simple No Time To Cook either by searching on the iTunes App Store or by clicking on the link given at the end of this review. Launch the app by tapping on the icon. The app will take some time to prepare the list of all recipes and other features when you will launch it for the first time. You will see 6 categories to choose from: Poultry, Beef or Lamb, Pork, Seafood, Pasta and Vegetarian. Tap on the category which is most appropriate for the type of dish you want to cook. After selecting the category, select the time you want to spend in cooking. The app lets you choose any of the three time intervals: 20, 30, or 40 minutes. Select the time interval and tap on Go to see the list of all the recipes.

List of Recipes

The app will show you the list of all the recipes matching your preferred category and time interval. The app displays a large list, but in free version you can access only top 3 recipes in each of the category and time interval selected. You can upgrade your subscription from within the app if you want to.

Select the recipe which you would like to cook by tapping on it.

Steps To Cook

You can see the ingredients and their quantity which you need to cook the recipe. Below that, you can see the steps to cook the recipe. At the top right corner, you can also check the number of people for which the recipe is given. The app also lets you see the step-by-step view for cooking the recipe. Tap on the Go To Step-By-Side View or tilt the iPhone to access this feature.

The other features of the app are: Tip and Nutritional Info.

The Tip options gives you an useful tip related to the recipe which can help you in making current recipe or any other recipe more delicious.

The Nutritional Info shows you the nutritional aspect of the recipe; it shows the quantity of proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates etc. in each recipe.

Real Simple No Time To Cook is a very good cooking app to have. It explains the recipes in a very simple way. I found it really easy to understand the steps involved in cooking of the recipes. The app has a large collection recipes so that you never have to remain hungry, but remember, you need to upgrade for that.
