Here is a list of 5 free Android apps to check live cricket scores. Not only just checking the live cricket scores, these apps also send you the push notifications for all the important aspects of the live game. It means you won’t have to open the app every time to check latest scores and updates.

Apart from the live scores, the app also lets you check the schedule, news, player profile, team records, stats, rankings, images, videos, etc.. Some of the apps also let you choose your favorite team. The apps also cover regional and private league matches besides the international matches. So, let’s check out what each of these apps offer.

1. Cricbuzz:

Cricbuzz

Cricbuzz is the first Android app in the list to check live cricket scores. The app shows top news stories and summary of up to 6 matches on the home screen. These 6 matches consist of ongoing matches (if any), completed matches, and upcoming matches. For ongoing matches, you can read the real-time commentary, check the brief score, full scorecard, match info, series stats, and subscribe to match related subscriptions.

The other sections of the app show list of current matches, the list of series’, schedule, recent results, this day that year, archives, player stats, series stats, records, rankings, and points table. Besides this, the app also adds a special section whenever there’s a special series or tournament going on (like Ashes, World Cup, IPL, T20 World Cup, etc.).

2. ESPNCricinfo Cricket App:

While reading news, you can add/read comments, add to favorites, adjust font size, and share the post.

The next Android app to stay connected with cricket is from Star Sports, one of the leading broadcasting channels for sports. It is also the only app in the list which also lets you stream the live match for free. On opening the app, you will find the options Watch Now, Audio, and Scores if there’s any match going underway. The app also shows the scores if you don’t want to go for live match streaming or audio commentary. While viewing the scores, you can further choose from ball-by-ball commentary, scores, and videos.
