World National Flags is a free Windows 10 app to learn about different flags. When you start the app you will see a screen like the one shown in the screenshot above. You can browser flags of various countries either by different continents, or all of them together. Just select the option which you like and all the flags of that region will be listed on your screen, as shown in the screenshot below.

You can see the flag of a country, the name of the country which the flag belongs to, and the capital of that country is displayed as well. When you click on a country tile it will open up in full page with a link to read more about the country through Wikipedia. You will also see an option to see this country on world map. On the home page of this app you have a flags quiz. After you have gone through all the flags, take the quiz and find out how much you remember. The high scores can be seen in the tab with the same name.

Flags Capitals Countries

Flags Capitals Countries is a free Windows 10 flag app. In this app you will see an interface like the one shown in the screenshot above. All the countries, their flags, and which continent they belong to is listed in alphabetical order. You can browse all the countries and their flags or you can even directly go to the ones you want. When you click on the name of a country, it will open up in full screen, as shown in the screenshot below.

This page will list the name of the country, the continent the country belongs to, the capital of the county, native language spoken in that country, the flag of the country, and its location will be shown on a map towards the right side of the app window. You can share this information with your friends through various ways and can also pin this to the start menu.

Nation Notations

Nation Notations is a free Windows 10 flag app. The interface of this app can be seen in the screenshot above. In this app all the countries are listed in alphabetical order starting from A. You can click on any country name and it will open up in full page showing the countries name, capital of the country, the continent it belongs to, the native language spoken in the country, and the flag of the country is displayed. You can also see a search option at the top of the page, from where you can search for any country name and directly go to it, instead of browsing through all the countries.

World Atlas & Quiz MxGeo Free

World Atlas & Quiz MxGeo Free is a free flags app along with world atlas. The app provides lots of information as can be seen on the interface of the app in the screenshot above. You can see detailed maps of countries, but we are talking about flags in this article so we will jump to the tab which says world map and continent maps. In this section you will be shown all the countries in different colors and major cities like capitals are marked on them. You can click on a county in the map which you want to know the detail about. Double click on the country and its map will open up in full screen. Apart from map you can also read data about the country and see its flag, as shown in the screenshot below.

On top of the page you have four tabs, the map tab will show a map of the country, the flag tab will show the flag of the country, the position tab will show the exact location of the country on a globe, and the data tab will show all the data about the country. The app also has flag quizzes in it, which you can take to check out your knowledge about countries and their flags.

World Countries Factbook

World Countries Factbook is a free Windows 10 app where you will see all the countries being represented by their flags right on the home page. The background will show a world map and the foreground will show all the flags representing their countries. The above screenshot shows all the flags on the interface but the map is not visible in the background. When you click on a countries map a pop up window will come up with that countries information, as can be seen in the below screenshot.

The pop up shows some description about the country, the flag of the country will be displayed right on top, then you will be shown the countries geographical location the the mat. You can zoom in on the map or zoom out  of it.
