Soda 3D PDF Reader software to create and read PDF files in 3D. The Soda 3D PDF Reader is pretty awesome. The PDF file format used to be the express domain of Adobe’s Acrobat Reader. Not anymore. With the Soda 3D Reader, you can do all of the same things that you can with the free Adobe Reader, but more.

Easy Installation and Activation

Installation is less involved than most other programs I’ve looked at over the years. A few clicks, and it’s installed. Registration allows you to activate the added features of creating PDF files and converting other formats to the PDF format. Even better, registration and activation are free. With many other programs, if you want to be able to create PDFs or convert other document formats into PDF, you have to pay.

Able to Convert a Multitude of Document Formats

Almost no matter what file format you want to create a post script document from Soda 3D allows it. Want to turn a PowerPoint presentation into a PDF document to make printing it easier? No problem. Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and almost every image format available can be converted to a PDF. Do you know someone into Japanese animé or graphic novels? Soda 3D even converts the comic book formats to PDF for you. The conversion is quick. My 5 page Word document took less than 10 seconds to convert.

What Makes This Program So Neat

I love to read. One of the things I love the most about reading is the act of turning the page. Nothing beats seeing that page turn. I haven’t seen a PDF/e-book reader that does this. Hit Page Down and the next page(s) appear. With Soda 3D, you actually get to see the page turn. Yes, that’s right, you can see the page curl when you move your mouse over the bottom right, click it, and you can drag the page over. You can hit Page Down and watch the page turn.

Another neat feature is you can go 3D with your e-book. That means you can see the crease where the spine is between pages. You still get to watch the page turn as you finish reading the last line of the second page.

Soda 3D PDF reader isn’t one of those pieces of software you should drop everything to download and install. It’s unique and fun enough that it’s an alternative that I can highly recommend. I’ll be using it. I would finally get to read all of the e-books I downloaded.
