HIITme Interval Training Timer is a free Android app especially for HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training). You might know that HIIT is an intense workout or exercise with short intervals and recovery time. In addition to that, it can also be used for work or study as the maximum time that you can set for the timer is 60 minutes. For example, let say you’re going for an HIIT session, then you can set the session interval for 50 minutes and recovery (rest) interval for 10 minutes. How to Set Interval Timer during HIIT, Work and Study:
Step 1: After you open the app, you will see different options to set a timer such as prep, work, rest, rounds, and cooldown. It shows total time by including intervals of all the above options. You can increase the time for each option by using the “+” button and decrease it using “-” button.
Step 2: As you can see from the above image that, the 60 minutes can be divided among intervals of prep, work, rest, and cool down. It also lets you set the number of rounds you will do a particular exercise, work, or study session. After you’re done with setting a timer, hit the “GO” button to start it instantly.
Step 3: When the timer starts, at first it will execute the prep interval and then the work interval. After each round is completed, it will notify you that the time is up and will start the rest interval. It will continue until all the rounds are finished.
Step 4: Below the timer screen, you will be able to see the statistics of the workout. You can play/pause timer, cancel the timer, forward/backward rounds, enable/disable vibration, and mute/unmute sound from the toolbar on the right.
Step 5: On the main screen, tap the speaker icon to choose sound type among whistle, buzzer, yoga, and simple voice. You can also enable and disable 3 seconds ticks time.
