Criminal is a free website to listen to real life criminal stories as podcasts for free. The website includes podcasts of real life crimes of different types. All podcasts include a person who has either committed it or the one who was convicted in it or the one who suffered due to it. Each podcast is hosted by Phoebe Judge who is an award winning, including Associated Press awards, journalist.
All the podcasts come with a brief summary of the crime whose story has been told on it. Each of the podcast is of about 16 minutes length on an average, but some are even more. You can also download any podcast to listen for free even when offline.

Using this Website to Listen to Real Life Criminal Stories as Podcasts:
When you will open the Criminal website, you will see the simple Black and White themed elegant-looking interface. The website has no other annoying stuff and you will see the list of all the added criminal stories podcasts as shown in the screenshot below.
You can read the brief summary of each of the podcasts to get an idea about the crime which that podcast deals with. You can also check the episode number, podcast title, upload date and duration of the podcast.
Clicking on the Play button will play the podcast for you and you can start listening to it. The interface of podcast player is of SoundCloud because the website uses SoundCloud API to stream them. The dark Black colored area depicts the portion of the podcast which you have listened to while the dull Black depicts the one left for listening.
At the right corner, you can see the options for liking the podcast, downloading it and sharing it. If you want to download the podcast then you simply need to click on the download option. There’s no need of any registration or linking of any social account.
When you are done listening to a particular podcast, you will see the interface as shown below. Here you can replay the podcast along with two suggested podcasts. You can listen to them by simply clicking on the name.
