It means depending upon the current weather condition of your current location or any other custom location set by you, the app will add wallpaper effects to your device’s wallpaper. Do remember that this app doesn’t provide you with new wallpapers for applying, instead it adds effects to the wallpaper already set by you.
The other options of the app include weather provider, temperature unit, shuffle effects, shuffle duration, notifications, and many more.
Using this Android App to Get Wallpaper Effects as per Weather:
When you will launch the app for the first time, it will ask you to turn on the location settings. It is required by the app to track your current location and show the updated weather. If you don’t want to provide the permission, then you can skip it and enter the location name manually. On completion of this step, you will see the app’s interface as shown below. On the right side, you can see the wallpaper effects added to my device’s stock wallpaper. You can see that there are multiple dots on the wallpaper.
Now, you just need to wait for the weather type to change and app will add a new wallpaper effect to your wallpaper. You can also go for manual selection of weather effects, but that’s a part of PRO version of the app.
However, the app does offer various features which make even the free version of the app worth installing on your phone. The best feature is the Shuffle Enabled Effects. On enabling this option, the app applies and shuffles the weather effects without even waiting for the weather to get updated. It means you might have a situation when the current weather effect won’t be matching the current weather type. You can set the shuffle interval as 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, or 2 hours.
The other features of the app include display of current weather in notification, ability to adjust scale, enable less color when cloudy, enable light streaks when sunny, intensity, global intensity, screen dust, etc..
