It batch applies the partition editing specifications on the system restart.
Resize partitions, move them, and, allocate free spaces between drives using this partition manager:
IM-Magic Partition Resizer is a pretty good free partition manager. The best part of this freeware is the ease with which you can easily and quickly manage the unallocated spaces between drives.
It doesn’t even touches the files and folders of your drives. All it modifies is the free space. Using it, you can easily add more free space to your main drive.
Downloading and installing the freeware doesn’t take time. Once you install it, simply run this free partition resizer. It scans all the partitions and then lists them, showing the occupied and free space in each partition.
You can shrink a partition that has unused space, and then assign this unused space to another partition. Simply right-click on the partition that has extra space, and click on Resize/Move button. This opens a new sub-window to edit the drive space. You can use the Unallocate space before/after text boxes to give exact specification. A quicker way to select the amount of space (that is to be unllocated) is: click-dragging the green border ends. It’s faster and easier.
You can also rearrange the order of drives. This is helpful for assigning unused space, from one drive to another. Simply click-drag the green area on the screen towards left or right, and the drives get reordered.
Now to assign the unallocated area to another partition, simply right-click on the desired partition and click Resize/Move button, and then expand the green bordered area. Once done click OK, and then on Apply.
The changes that you make are not applied in real-time. It will store all the changes that you want to make, and will apply all the changes together in one go when you restart the system.
