NixStats is basically meant for server monitoring. But you can use it to monitor different websites as well. It works in the same way as other websites work in this list. However, it uses different approach to check the availability of a website. Here it can only check if host is up or not. It won’t alert you if there are any internal server errors. As long as the target website is returning online status, it will keep showing green light. The interface of this website is simple and there are some other features that you will like. You can monitor a server with this too. But for monitoring a server, you will have to install an agent on it first. Uptime Doctor is quite old website but still works perfectly. On its simple web interface, you can create website monitors and start receiving emails when any of them goes down. It has a detailed reports section where you can see the overall status of the websites that you have added in it. The process of adding and configuring the monitors is different here but it’s worth the wait. You can see the history of all the outages and do whatever you want.
