Free Android app to Read IEEE Papers, Journals

RESEARCHER provides you with all the latest publications covering IEEE papers to research journals and other publications covering various research frontiers. The app is available for free in Google Play Store (for Android devices) as well as in App Store (for iOS devices).

Browser Papers


When you open this app for the first time, it asks you to select your areas of interests. Based on your selection, it gives you a list of subjects from those areas. Simply select the subjects you are most interested in from the list to get a personalized list of academic journals to follow. Then, select the desired journals and follow them to help this app create personalized feeds for you. You can follow and unfollow journals later as well.

You can scroll through the feeds to check all the updates and tap open any feed to read more. At the bottom of each update, you get options to visit the source and share it with others. There is a bookmark icon on each feed which lets you add that update to your Reference Manager. By adding an update to your Reference Manager, you can access it any later from there. This way, you can store the updates in one place that are vital to you.

Filter Feeds with Keywords

This app has a unique filter feature that I haven’t seen in any other app yet. It lets you create a custom filter with keywords or authors to sort your feeds. You can also use the same filter to get the relevant content from all the journals available on this app.

To use this feature, tap on the filter icon from the feeds section. Then, select whether you want to create a filter with keywords or author names. After that, type the keyword or author name for the filter and click Done to create and apply the filter. You can create a filter with multiple keywords/authors.

Along with that, this app has a trending section where you can get all the latest trending updates from different areas. You can select an area and see what is the latest most trending updates in that area.
