Population of our planet is a topic which everybody seems to be talking about. The world population to date is more than 7 billion and growing at a fast rate. With every passing second new ones are added to our family here on earth with few existing members going away as well. We are discussing population today, because that is what our app is all about. Population clock is a free Windows 10 clock app which shows you a live clock of the world population.
The app can be downloaded from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. When you launch the app for the first time you will see a screen as shown in the screenshot below.
As you can see in the screenshot above the live world clock displays the population of the world at the moment. The figure keeps on changing every second. The live counter keeps on running, as there are 2 kids born every second.
I don’t know if you feel excited or nervous looking at the growing population of the planet. But as the clock keeps ticking it does give you a sort of anxiety thinking about how high this number would become.
Apart from the world population you can also see statistics from different parts of the world, country wise. You can also see how much the population of the world or a particular country was at a particular time on the graph. Like the below screenshot shows the population of Africa in 1980.
Similarly, you can see the current population of a country by selecting the name of the country from the list of countries given below the world population clock. The screenshot below shows you the population of USA at present.
Along with the population clock, it also displays statistics like birth rate and death rate. Similarly, it gives the same statistics for the world population as well. It also shows an estimate of 226 days before the population number reaches 7.4 billion.
Population Clock app shows you the world population through a live clock. It gives you an insight into how the population of this planet is growing and also shows you other statistics related to population. Try it out.
