Hitlist is a free iPhone app to get notified when flight tickets become cheap. This app lets you make a list of cities and places which you want to visit. On the basis of list made by you, the app notifies you when the flight tickets become cheap for that particular place. Apart from adding places and making list, you can also check for cheapest flight ticket for any place in recent time. The app supports almost all the currencies, which means you can get the prices in your local currency.
You can also make list of places you have visited so far and places which you want to visit. As per this list, app shows you the percentage of world that you have visited so far. The app has a huge database of world’s famous places that attracts millions of visitors each year. For making you search effectively and better, app also lets you add the airport from where you want to take the flight. You can either choose it on the basis of your current location or set it manually. The app also lets you book tickets from within app.
Using This iPhone App to Get Notified When Flight Tickets Become Cheap:
You are required to register with the Hitlist app which lets app to save all your lists and data. You can get it done by either linking your Facebook or simply adding mail address. You will also be asked to choose the airport from where you want to search flights and get notified when flight tickets become cheap. You can choose it by either using your current location or by selecting it manually. Once you have completed all these formalities, you will be redirected to app’s Explore section. It is the area from where you will see a list of different cities along with their name, their cheapest flight ticket price, and an image of any location related to that place.
You can also search for any location manually using the search bar provided at top. You can see that image of each of the places has an icon at bottom right with four flights in circle. It is the icon for adding that particular city to your hitlist and thus to get notified when flight tickets become cheap. You can also tap on any place’s image to get two options: I’ve been here and I want to go. It also displays the time required to reach that place including the distance from your home airport.
When you have found a deal or cheap flight, then you can tap on it know the flight departure and arrival date, deal provider name, sharing option and booking options. If you choose to book the flight, then you don’t have to leave the app. You can book it from within the app.
There are a few more options inside the app which you can get by tapping on three bar icon at top left. There are following 3 more options: Flights, Profile, and Settings.
- Flights: This option displays flights with good deals to you. These flights are divided in two categories: One for those places which were added by you to hitlist and other for rest of the places.
- Profile: From here, you can check the number of cities and countries visited by you, number of cities and countries on your Hitlist, and number of cities/playlist visited by your friends.
- Settings: You can change multiple settings from here like Home Airport, Currency, Notifications, and enable/disable Facebook account linking.
