The easiest way to access direct folders is to simply double click on the vacant area of the desktop/explorer or file dialog box and select your favorite folder from the menu. The dialog instantly jumps to that folder but if you wish to access it from the desktop/tray icon then the folder would be opened in explorer/other file manager.
