For me, the main advantage of Free PDF Downloader is the speed at which PDF files can be viewed. Not only is the search function fast, but there is a matter of seconds between you clicking the link to a PDF file and it appearing in the window. Even if you choose to download the PDF to your computer, it is done in seconds.
However, one big problem with this software is that searches for only PDF files, but not links for PDF files. Most of the good PDF files are hosted in services like Rapidshare that can be downloaded using Rapidshare downloaders, but this software does not show such links.

Even though Free PDF downloader is quite easy to use, same functionality can be achieved in normal search engines as well. You can go to Advanced Search, and select to search for PDF files only. However, Free PDF downloader does offers the convenience of searching and downloading PDF files specifically.
