Working:

1. Click on this link to navigate to Octopus.do, type a few words about your future website and click on the ‘Generate’ button. When prompted, you should register for a free account using your Google credentials.

2. Wait for some time while Octopus’s AI processes your inputs and presents the full visual sitemap on your screen. You can pan the display by holding down the left button and moving the mouse.

3. Click on the Title of any page and notice that a mini-toolbar appears above it. You can use it to change the outline color of the page or to add a new block.

4. Click on any block and another mini-toolbar appears adjacent to it. This toolbar can be used to change the color of the block or to modify the block wireframe.

5. If you wish to add Comments, Notes, Descriptions and more for any block, hover the cursor over the block and click on the ‘Notes’ icon that is displayed towards the right.

6. To add a new page, just click on the ‘+’ sign below the chosen page. You can then go ahead and modify the page color, add blocks and more using the steps that we have described above.

7. To search for any Page, Blocks etc. click on the ‘Search’ icon at the top right, type a few letters and you will be able to observe the results.

8. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right to change the Theme of the visual sitemap such as Light, Dark or Blueprint. You can also toggle between a horizontal (default) and vertical layout using the ‘Settings’ panel.

8. To export the Sitemap XML file, click on the ‘Download’ icon at the top right, choose ‘Sitemap.XML’, input the root domain and custom properties if required and click on ‘Generate’.

9. To share the visual sitemap with others, click on the ‘Share’ button, assign the required permission such as Read or Edit and then click on the ‘Copy’ icon to copy its web link to the clipboard. From the same popup box, you can also invite your team members to collaborate on your sitemap by inviting them using their email address.
