Working:

1. Click on this link to navigate to Nanonets, click on ‘Get started for free’ and sign up for a free account using your Google credentials.

2. This will take you to the Nanonets dashboard where you must choose the type of the Document on which you want to perform an OCR such as Invoices, Passports, Driver Licenses, Tables and more. Note: We uploaded a Tables document in PDF format as an example to test the capabilities of Nanonets.

3. Next, drag and drop the respective document on to the page. You can also choose to connect your cloud accounts such as Google Drive, One Drive etc. to upload your files from cloud storage.

4. Wait for some time while the respective Nanonets AI model processes the uploaded file and extracts the data from it. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the file that you have uploaded as well as its complexity.

5. Once the file has been processed successfully, you can click on it in the ‘Extract Data’ page to view the extracted data. The original uploaded file will be shown in the central pane of the page for your reference.

6. The right-side panel displays the extracted data per page. You can click on the back / forward arrow marks at the top to move to different pages and verify the data that has been extracted.

7. To view the Table in full width to verify all the fields, click on the corresponding icon at the top right of the table. Once you have cross-checked the extracted data and found it to be correct, click on the ‘Approve File’ icon at the bottom of the panel.

8. Now, to share the data, click on the corresponding button at the top right of the page copy the weblink (URL) and share it with anyone you desire or only the Nanonets users who have logged in.

9. To download the extracted data, click on the 3-dots icon at the top right, choose the ‘Download’ option and select the format such as CSV, Excel, XML and more to automatically download the file to your system.

10. You can also copy the extracted data in JSON format by clicking on the JSON tab in the right-side pane and the clicking on ‘Copy JSON’.
