InfiniteMonkeys is a simple and free application that uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to generate short charming and entertaining stories that are automatically read out to you using an inbuilt text to speech engine.
The developers have probably selected the name ‘InfiniteMonkeys’ after getting inspired by the Infinite Monkeys Theorem which you can check out on Wikipedia.
To start, you must type a few words as a story prompt and then InfiniteMonkeys uses Open AI’s GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model to produce the story which is then displayed on the screen. Additionally, the story is also read out to you so that you can sit back, relax, and hear it, without having to go through the trouble of reading it from the screen.
Working:
1. Navigate to InfiniteMonkeys by clicking on the link that we have provided at the end of this article.
2. Type your story prompt using a few words or phrases and click on ‘Generate’. You can also click on ‘Randomize’ to create random story prompts automatically which you can then use for building the story using AI.
3. It may take up to 30 seconds for InfiniteMonkeys to generate the story. Once this is done, the story is displayed on the screen and a Text-to-Engine voice automatically starts reading it aloud.
4. You can click on the ‘Pause’ button to temporarily stop the story reading.
5. You can click on the ‘Share’ button and copy the link (URL) to the story which you can then share with whomever you desire.
6. If you are not satisfied with the story, you can click on ‘Rewrite’ to generate a new story with the same prompt. To generate a new story from scratch, click on ‘New Story’ and start the process all over again.

Overall, this seems to be a decent AI-based story generator. Since it was just built for spreading the knowledge and magic of all that AI can achieve, it has no other frills or advanced features that you can use.
