If you haven’t selected any of the fonts on the left, then the app shows the preview of all fonts, along with font name. Simply uncheck the unwanted fonts and filter the fonts, until you zero down to a font you like.

Font Previewer is a good Windows 8 fonts preview app. Though there were times when it didn’t show the fonts preview, especially with changed color, and I had to launch the app again. Besides that, it did work well. All in all a handy free Windows 8 app.
